The Spring real estate market in Eastern MA keeps me extremely busy for several months of the year, but now and again I get a chance to take a break and showcase some of my favorite homes, photos, and designed spaces.
The modest entrance of this refinished Marblehead colonial hides an enormous living space that soaks up sun with floor to ceiling windows.
Tiny packages: with less than 700 square feet in this city condo (and 5th floor walkup) needed the perfect staging to make it look stunning. Check!
And then there’s the other end of the scale: a 6,000 square foot 4 bedroom home in the suburbs. When you have all that space to build, the tendency is to scale up everything.
Honorable mention: My favorite cape conversion project was this home in Arlington, MA where the home seems absolutely open, yet still maintains discrete spaces. Terrific modification of the traditional cape layout, and I love the wood on the ceiling.
